Pictures of my babies :)

Here are some pictures of my cats, Cher and Wednesday.  I got them both from a friend of a lady I worked with and had never seen them before she brought them in for me to take them home.  At first when I heard there was a really pretty female calico one in the litter and I immediately wanted her.  I've always wanted a calico cat, so I told her that was the one I wanted.  At the time, I was living in a dorm at college and wasn't allowed to have animals, but I would be going home for summer soon, so I postponed getting them as long as I could.  My friend at work told me that they were being given away first come, first serve so I should pick a second cat just in case the calico got given away.  I picked the one that she described as female with black with white paws.  

Eventually the day came to get my new kitten and it turned out both of my choices were still available. Because I worked and went to school, I del bad about having one cat and leaving her alone in the day, so I decided to get them both.  Best decision ever.  They are my little fur balls of love.  

So FINALLY, here are some pictures!

This is Cher..  She is my love bug.  She loves to cuddle, purrs all the time, and is just a big baby in general.  She's a total mama's girl.  When I am home, 95% of the time, she is glued to my hip, like in this picture.  That is also where she is at right now.

This is Wednesday  She is more independent and kinda does her own thing most of the time.  She still puts up with me loving on her all the time, though.  She is also really piggy.  Eats just about everything in sight and makes a mess of it.  She's cute:

At one time, Wednesday was pregnant. Although she eventually miscarried, before that she went through a period of acting like she was in  labor, so we had a birthing box ready.  Cher would not leave her side for about 2 days.  

Aww, sweet girls! welcome to TCS!   I'm sure you already do, but for your kitties safety, please be careful w/ cleaning chemicals if Cher is drinking out of the toilet. Even traces can cause harm.

Otherwise, I would keep the toilet closed & she will learn to drink from her bowl.  (FYI, baking soda &/or white vinegar work well as natural cleaning alternatives).

And yes I'm careful not to put anything in there that would harm her. I've tried keeping the lid closed, but they pull their water bowl around the room and it spills all the fresh water out, so then I come home to both of them screaming because they are thirsty lol.  It's a never ending battle

I leave a large mixing bowl full of water in the sink. They can splash as much as they like without making a huge mess and I've never yet seen the bowl completely empty.

Gorgeous cats. I love their furry toes.

That is a good idea!  I'll have to try that!  It's frustrating sometimes lol I don't get why they have to move the bowl half way across the room and tip it over every time I fill it.  

And yes I love their feet!  They have these big tuffs of fur in between their toes.  Cher won't let you touch them but Wednesday will let you massage her paws.  She'll spread her toes all way apart too so you can get in between them
