is there any wetness on her back end, or is she licking down there a lot? Those are also signs.

could be she's coming into heat as well, or she's not well.

Let me tell you something. I have been on this site for about 1-2 months now and I got slammed for not spaying my 2 cats. Have your cats checked before a litter can get out of hand like my daughters did.

dejolane

I get slammed on here all the time for having two intact females, but I have learned to ignore it. Doesn't matter what anyone else thinks of you.
Some cats don't show strong signs of labor, it is not in their best interest instinctively to say "HEY world! and any predators therein I'mma gonna have me some babies! nice, juicey, squishy, highly edible babies!"...ok, so, yeah.

I never realized my cat Emry was in labor until I found the kittens a few hours later in a cabinet in the downstairs bathroom, looking back however I realized that she was LOL, obviously but I hadn't noticed the signs until a couple of days later, she would walk a few feet, sit down, get up, walk a few feet, sit down ect. no hard, labored breathing, anything.

I missed the births of the kittens but I know for a fact that she would not have been comfortable with me watching her.

has your cat started to round out at all? that'll give you an idea of how far along she is if you don't know. if she had started to get a rounded belly on one or both sides then she is inbetween 4 and 6 weeks along, depending on how many she has inside her, if only one or two and she's a good sized cat, she may not show at all.

heat cycles are always accompanied by "flirty" rolling, usually cats will plop down on your feet and roll around because they want you to...well, never mind xD

if she is calling AND rolling them she is in heat. alot of cats will also trill alot when they are in heat, that "mmm" sound that they do xD

No she hasnt been rolling and calling, she does roll when i mop my floors but i think thats because of the bleach in the water, its rather cute and funny, and yeah she does have a nice round belly, its kinda hard too, i mean when she lies down she looks really big! The meow she does it sounds strange, it'l go from a 'i want cuddles' to a 'somethings wrong'. When my mums cat had kittens, she had them on her bedroom floor, and the only sign she has was a bit of blood, i'll keep an eye over her during the night, as its like 10:15pm here xD i'd upload a picture but my camera quality isnt too good :/

Just a quick question, she is showing more now and her two back nipples are bigger, my question is, (she has rather longish fur on her belly, around her nipples are bald though) if i should trim her fur a little bit?

if she has seperated the fur from her nipples there is no need to trim the fur

I sorry it didn't come out the way I wanted it too. My daughter had 2 cats,,mother and daughter, they take turns getting pregnant. I just feel that everybody should spay their cats. At first I couldn't afford it and I did posts something about it how much Bella and Thunder were in heat and people kept telling me to spay them. I was just passing it on. Sorry about your job too.

The hernia shouldn't add much more on, there may also be low cost spay options available to you. Cats protection, or some vet clinics sometimes run specials to encourage neutering.

Oh i heard labor might add pressure to it.
I hope she's not having a false pregnancy, i know it would be better but that would be awful, i mean i've woken up today and her belly isnt as round anymore :/ oh well, i've got the vet tomorrow, fingers crossed shes ok :)

Yeah thats what i thought! The plan was to get her done with my christmas bonus, because it would cost me £90
Have you rung around?  Prices for neutering vary hugely in the UK and whilst £90 isn't the most expensive you might be able to find it cheaper.  Do make sure to mention her hernia - presume it's at her navel?

Let us know how you get on at the vets.

Yeah, the vet said its an umbilical hernia, i mean its only tiny and you cant notice it because of her fur, but if they can spay her and sort the hernia out at the same i thought ok then and i will do, shes chewing my toes right now xD bless!
Also how can you tell when their belly's drop? I know its only suttle i just want to keep an eye out :)

The belly drop is often very noticeable, they go from rounded to looking not pregnant at all

Also be aware hernias can be genetic so you could find kittens with it, I think it takes a few weeks to show up in kittens

They stop moving, then get very active as they move into birthing position

Well i phoned the vets (coz i couldnt take her today coz my mum got taken into hospital) and when i asked if her belly has dropped would i still be able to feel them, she just said 'mmm maybe' then told me to keep an eye on her and if im still worried to ring back in a few days :/

so im a bit scared because she dosnt look pregnant anymore, her bellys still a little firm, but no where near as firm as yesterday and i cant really feel anything anymore :(

That's pretty normal if you don't know what you're feeling for
