My 8 yo old Siberian Cat has been eating Science Diet Hairball for most of his life. He loves it. Recently we noticed he was throwing up almost every day and since we don't really like the SD anyway we switched. My husband bought the Petsmart brand Simply Nourish (just regular adult cat) and he like it. We thought we were making a good step but Thunder started getting clumps of poop on his fur and we found clumps of poop on the floor. He also was just diagnosed with a UTI. The vet said maybe with him rubbing his butt on the floor to get the poop off, he got bacteria in his urethra. So now I need to switch again. Do I need to look for high fiber to help poops? Vet suggested Indoor formula but I feel like I remember him getting sick on an indoor formula when he was little (don't remember which one). Any thoughts? We have tried almost every food for him in the past, trying to get him off the SD and he is very picky and wouldn't eat them. We do give wet food at night but all three of the cats will only eat a few bites and then walk away. Right now we are also feeding Nutro Max Chicken Adult and Purina One Sensitive Systems- he won't eat them. The other 2 cats each like those so that is why. I was thinking of trying Nutro Max Hairball to see if I could get 2 cats on the same food. Help!
