Hello all! These are my two kitties and as you can see one of them has very distinct markings (the orange and greyish kitten). I've been trying to identify her breed but having no luck....any ideas? She's been having some behavioral problems and the vet indicated that calicos with orange coloring can be temperamental...so i thought i would look further into her breed

They are both domestic shorthair (DSH) kittens, no particular breed. Calico is a color pattern, not a breed. Calico and tortoiseshell kitties do have a reputation for having a bit of attitude, AKA catitude, AKA tortietude. However, I doubt that there is any scientific basis to it.

Very pretty kitties. We'd love to see more pictures of them.

My, she's pretty. No breed, like most cats, but I would guess that pattern to be classic torbie, there may be a more correct name for it but that's my guess.

Yes, there's a thing called tortitude :lol3:, and I do think there's at least SOME truth in saying that torties are more intense than females of other colors, but of course not all torties will be the same.
