Aw, heck no. I did some online shopping for the grandkids at Amazon on Saturday morning, but that's pretty much it. Baked some cookies on Sunday. Still have to mail out cards. I've gotten so far behind this year that it's pathetic.

EEEKK!! Christmas! This is the first time we have been with family in so long, I am not sure what to do. We are on a fixed income, so we cannot do much. We will do what we can for the granddaughters, and mil has been so kind to us this year, we are going to get her a small gift to let her know how much we appreciate her. We will go visiting Christmas Eve for a little while, and let them have their first Christmas as a complete family.

Last year we arrived on Christmas Eve, I was just out of the hospital. We got to dd's house, dh attended to the kitties and dd made me sit on the couch. She told me there was someone she wanted to meet as she handed me her 3 week old baby.  Raven's eyes got big and she smiled at me. I was so overwhelmed I nearly burst into tears. There was this tiny, perfect little person that had saved her first smile just for me. She weighed only 5lbs. I just cannot imagine a more perrfect Christmas.

I've got a plan.... LOL

I'm basically done for my kids and I only have a few family members left to shop for.  Some are more expensive than others.  DH and I agreed to save money this year by not exchanging gifts...or we will buy sheets. yay.

The house is decorated and I ordered our Christmas cards today.  I'm hoping to really start making cookies next week.  I need to find some Christmas cookie cutters.
