My biggest concern would be the FIP. (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) There is no test for this, and it is always fatal. I hope this is not what your baby has. Has your vet recommended any palliative treatment, to keep him more comfortable?

If it's gas..a probiotic could help. I think there is a difference in the way gas would feel as opposed to the fluid build up from FIP though. Perhaps a second opinion from a different vet?

Praying for him. Keep us posted.
