Woodcarvings, Cottage Pics & Garden Pics!!

I went to the cottage this weekend to help build a deck. Also I was finally able to take some pics of my mom's and stepdad's place (they are retired and live a couple of minutes down the road from the family cottage).

They bought this house 7 years ago and it was a total mess. The bush was overgrown, dead trees, no lawn etc. I think they have done an amazing job & it helps that my stepdad is a carpenter and my mom is a gardening freak and birdhouse maker!!

Wow Kass, the cottage and your parents house is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Looks like your mother has quite the green thumb. Sigh, I can't even keep an office plant alive.

Love the chipmunk crossing. At our cottage they come right up and crawl on you for peanuts.

Kass, that is an absolutely stunning view of the lake. Which lake is it? Your Mother and Stepfather have done a stunning job. I showed your pics to my hubby and even he loved them!

You should do a website on cottage life and have all the pictures on the site. Keep taking more pics, it's raining in my neck of the woods right now not a good day at all for taking pics.
