Please bear with me as I write this post. Also, please excuse my confusion and perhaps ignorance...
Since I adopted my kitten Bella from the SPCA at the end of August, I've tried to feed her the best diet that I can. I don't believe in feeding a raw diet and my work and other issues (health) prevent me from cooking for her. So, I depend on commercial pet foods that I think are very good quality in terms of ingredients, nutrients, etc. However, as I read the various posts here at The Cat Site and get the benefit of so many people's experiences, the effect is not only enlightenment but confusion as well. Confusion in terms of ingredients (those that are required by a cat and those that aren't) and nutritional analysis. I hope I'm giving my kitten (almost six months old now and transitioning to adult food) the best that I can. So, in order to relieve my anxiety, I'm asking the opinion of experienced cat owners here as to the quality of the foods I'm feeding my precious Bella. Here goes:
Wellness Grain Free Kitten Formula (wet)
Wellness Grain Free Chicken Formula (wet)
Wellness Grain Free Turkey Formula (wet)
Wellness Grain Free Healthy Indulgence Turkey & Chicken Recipe/Chicken & Chicken Liver Recipe (wet pouches)
Wellness Grain Free Sliced Chicken Entree/Turkey Entree (wet)
Wellness Grain Free Core Chicken, Turkey & Chicken Liver Formula (wet)
Wellness Kitten Health Dry (for "grazing" only)
Innova Cat & Kitten Food (wet)
Blue Wilderness Spa Select Tender Turkey & Chicken Entree (wet; rice-free formulas not available where I live)
Weruva Nine Liver/Paw Lickin' Chicken/Grandma's Chicken Soup (wet)
Tiki Cat Hookena Luau Ahi Tuna & Chicken (wet, as a treat only as chicken-only varieties not avaialble where I live)
Thank you, everyone, for reading. If there is a wet food out there that my Bella could benefit from eating, please let me know. I guess I would like to know if she's being given good nutrition. Wellness is her primary diet but I rotate it with the others.
