Just signed up as I hear this is a good forum for cat owners to learn from.

Been a vet for 23 years, still practice full time in Marquette, Mich and also operate a pet food company so you know where I come from.  Cat food sure needs some help with the way it is made and that is what I have tried to do with a dry based diet. Just use the barn cat as an example of health of what their diet consists of.

Ok..... Yeah... Cat foods sure need a lot of help, although IMHO a dry food will always lack.... With that said, what company do you work for, and how are you trying to help, how is the food different/better?
And out of curiosity since you are a vet who works for the pet food industry, what's your view of the new AVMA policy against raw feeding?
