I've never seen a kitten as picky as my two. Callie is 7 months, and Lily is 16 weeks.  I've tried soooo many types of kitten food, and they barely like any of them. I've tried- Blue spa kitten chicken, wellness kitten, inova, blue longevity kitten, avoderm, and they wont even eat it. They only two kitten specific brands they like are are fancy feast kitten, and royal Canin kitten. I've also got Merrick, and natures variety chicken, which is an all life stages..but I'm a little concerned about the fat content, i know kittens need high fat percent. Are there any other brands I haven't tried yet? I've realized their favorite flavors, are chicken, and salmon. Would it really be that bad to feed an adult "maintenance" food. It seems like there are a lot more flavors for adults. Like I'd said they love fancy feast, the kitten brand, and also the chicken and cheese flavor. I just want something with a little extra nutrients.

Thanks :)

Kittens will do just fine on adult food as long as it is not a special diet such as weight management, etc. Kittens and youngsters do need more calories than adults so just make sure they eat enough. For cats, carbs are far more damaging than fats. Try finding a food they like with less than 10% carbs. Wellness grain-free is an excellent food (if they like it). Here is an extensive list of wet foods with their nutrional value

Now, don't let them manipulate you!!
