My cat jaws is a little monster. When she became a little more vocal after rescuing her, we noticed she had a word meow. It's high pitched and squeaky. Somewhat like if your cat she's a bug flying and wants it but it's out if their reach. It's like she just can't meow properly at all. Should I be concerned? She seems very healthy. Has gained weight like normal and full of energy.

There are LOADS of unheard sounds from cats, and I'm no expert but I'm sure it's ok - my cat makes a few noises, but it's just to show lonliness or appreciation. So I'd say not to worry.

I agree.  One of my cats squeals like a pig!  So cute
.  Another chatters to ME the same as when he's watching birds outside.  Only one is what I would call "normal" when meowing

Good to know. It's super adorable. Just wanted to make sure my little monster had nothing to worry about.

My Parker's meow is a half whisper. Cats are like people in the sense that they have different voices. Buddy sometimes opens his mouth and nothing comes out, other times he says "meeeeeeee". lol

We already have one loud mouth in our furry family. So we're solid there. Haha :)

Julie says meee-yeah when she meows.  Spice has a kitten voice. Sheba trills mostly. Silly has THE VOICE.  And Sugar doesn't meow much. All but Sheba are major purr-boxes, though.

My male kitty Kip makes some odd noises. When I pet his back, he'll open his mouth like he's going to meow, but this teeny tiny little noise comes out about a second later. So he kind of looks like he's doing his own subtitles. I know for a fact he can meow because he's very very vocal when I open the refrigerator or he feels lonely. My older male is very noisy and will meow if he's touched in any way. I can sit there and ever so gently poke him anywhere on his body with my finger and he meows. It's like playing a furry keyboard. Meanwhile, it takes me forever to get my female cat to purr (when she does, it's usually very low), a moderate amount of attention to get my older male to purr (he also drools when he purrs), but if I so much as glance in my younger male's direction, he purrs like an idling truck engine. All kitties sound a little different when they meow, just like how all people have different voices. I don't think it's something to lose sleep over.

My baby purrs if I so much as look at her too. If my bf brings her to bed and I walk out the room for more than a few second, she squeaks and runs after me.
