When i give him his food he eats a little then he go clean him self and play and after an hour or two he wants to eat again because he didn't eat a lot the last time so i have to give him his food 2 or 3 time as 1 meal.
What should i do to make him finish his bowl at one time? he do this with both dry and wet.

The kitten is 4 months and he is not sick and doesn't have any worms or anything the vet said he's ok.

And pleaaase don't say starve him so he could learn because i can't do that to him.

Maybe he is bored of the cat food have you tried giving him a different brand and how much do you feed and how much does he eat out of the amount?

Yes i tried changing the food still having problem. I feed him 2 or 3 tbs of dry food and he eats less than half maybe 6\8 pieces? same thing with wet food. his sister eats more.

Some cats are finicky or dainty eaters. A healthy kitten/cat will not starve themselves. Maybe you are feeding too much, cats don't have large stomachs. Their metabolism is high, Angel my almost 4 year old cat doesn't eat a lot in one meal. Some cats need their meals spread out. My cat Tiger, he is around 11 years old he also doesn't eat much in one meal but he does eat enough in a day for his size. Miagi will eat the whole meal in one sitting, but he is more of a hungry hippo kind of cat. My cats are fed a few times a day to make sure they get enough food in them to be satisfied.

What are you feeding? If it's not a very flavorful food.. that could be your problem. It may take awhile to find him the right food. Also have you checked his mouth? He could be teething right now also.

I started leaving the dry food out and he eat every hour not too much at the end of the day he does eat what kitten in his age should eat but my problem is that he doesn't eat in one sitting.

Is it ok? to leave the dry out all day because he's full even when he didn't eat much and after an hour he's hungry again.

I feed him royal canin kittens 36

You can leave food out for him, yes. I don't feed free my cats any more since we had an ant problem in our house. So that's something you want to watch out for.

Royal Canin isn't the greatest food IMO. There are better things out there. I think Natural Balance has all stage formulas that can be fed to kittens and I fed that to my cat Angel when she was a kitten. She ate it up like there's no tomorrow. She loved the duck and pea formula dry food. It's a bit pricey but I don't think it's much more than Royal Canin. Their canned foods are pretty decent too. I am not sure if petsmart carries it or not, my local feed store carries it and that's where I get it from. At the very top of the site you can search with your zipcode to see who carries it in your area. :)
