To say I am new to cats would be a drastic understatement. I have always had pets but never an indoor cat. My family has always had outside cats well outside/attic cats so they didn't overheat or freeze. I have never been a cat person I have always been a dog person and currently have 4.

But first came Minion in a group of foster cats my roommate had he is my first indoor/outdoor cat he comes and goes as he pleases but since I have had him I think the farthest he has ventured was halfway down my yard then a bird scared him and he hasn't went past that point in almost a year. Lol. You will find him sleeping most of the time on the porch or in any sunny window he can find inside the house. He hates my camera and I usually have to trick him to get a picture. I officially adopted him around 4 months ago. He is LAZY that isn't even a strong enough word he is a lump that only moves when absolutely necessary.  He is also a scaredy cat.

Next is my newest kitten Popcorn. She is completely insane. I found her inside of a car that I was helping get a tree off of. She was terrible looking covered in what I thought was dirt that turned out to be so many fleas that when I put her in water they swarmed my arms. She was so skinny that when she was wet she didn't look like a kitten she looked like a skeleton. I took her to the vet and she was malnourished, had a URI, ear infections, worms and was severely dehydrated. She was an estimated 3-4 weeks old when I found her and is now 7-8 weeks old. She is now crazy hyper terrorize all the other animals kitten. Minion was a lazy kitten Popcorn is insane. She is named Popcorn because she bounces like popcorn most of the day then falls over wherever she is standing in a comatose state for a few hours. Lol.

This is around an hour after I found her and fed her a bottle of KMR.

Popcorn sounds like my baby jaws. I'd say she's lost her marbles, but we don't think age ever had any. If she's not acting crazy bouncing around the apartment, she's passed out and refuses to open her eyes when disturbed. It's play play play, and then boom asleep.

Minion has beautiful coloring.  I love red on a cat.  Popcorn is going to be a stunning cat when she gets bigger.  Not that she isn't gorgeous now.  Welcome to TCS and keep up with posting pictures of both kitties.

I don't think Popcorn has any marbles. Lol. Right now she is torturing one of my dogs by hiding under something he is too small to get under and batting him every time he walks  by.

Minion looks a little different now I haven't been able to catch him still long enough to get a decent picture in a while. He is a chunk butt even though he is on a restricted diet but since he is very unmotivated to move he pretty much gains weight by looking at food.

I can't wait to see what Popcorn looks like when she gets older. Her eyes are turning a copper color they were bright green when I found her. Her ears are my favorite part though lol they are starting to look pointy with a tiny tuft of hair on top. But her hair feels different than any other cat I have been around it feels more like feathers or silk (I compare her to my rabbits hair rather than a cat) and the older she gets the more poofy her tail gets. She is all white except two straight gray marks on top of her head. I thought they were dirt spots at first and kept trying to wipe them off Lol.

But she has a vet appointment for tomorrow since one of her canines came in flat and is starting to stick out of her mouth

She is a happy bouncy terror. Lol. But at least she is cute enough for me to laugh about it.

My bouncy monster follows me everywhere. She even cries if she can't go to the bathroom with me.

Wanting to be in the bathroom with you is typical cat behavior to me.  Every time I go in, I have an audience of 2 to 5.  I have to keep the door closed when I take a bath to avoid surprises in the tub with me.

Minion avoids the bathroom after jumping into the shower with me. Luckily Popcorn hasn't discovered where the bathroom is yet. But when I go out to walk my dogs you can see her popping her head up at the window (she has to jump she is too short to just see out of the window) and meowing as loud as possible.

Awe... My jaws has jumped in the bathtub with water still in it and has fallen in the toilet... She still wants to be in there. Also, on nice days I usually leave the sliding door open to the balcony and if I leave the apartment to go feed the resident geese, ducks,.turtles, fish... Then both Zeppelin and jaws try to follow me by running put to the balcony. Then when I return, the second I step inside they race to meet me at the door. It's precious.

Popcorn seems to like the water which is very strange to me. The only other cat I have known to like water was my grandma's Turkish Angora she had when I was really little you could not keep that cat out of any body of water. Minion can hear water running and runs off and hides somewhere.

Popcorn has discovered Minion's hanging cat condo and has stolen the top spot (no clue how she got up there).

And she wouldn't let Minion up either. For such a tiny cat (you really can't tell how tiny she is in the pictures) she sure does have a lot of attitude.

Tried to get a picture of Minion but the second he hears me take the lens cap off he's gone. All I got was an orange and white blur.

My jaws can't be still for pictures either. I swear 90% of the ones I try to take are blurry.

I am loving the pictures!  Welcome to TCS.  It's nice to meet you.
Thank you! I love taking pictures. Nice to meet you as well.

I thought my rabbits were hard to get pictures of until I got a cat. At least with my dogs I say "stay" and can take a picture. Lol.
