fish and salmon oil?

Hi 

Can you help me i have 4 months old kitten and i want to give him fish or salmon oil but i don't know how much? he's 4 lbs now almost 5

and is it ok to give him the one that we use? or it has to be for pets?

Hi Haley!  I guess I need more infomation.  Is there a specific reason you want to supplement your kitties diet with the oil?  I would use Wild Alaskan Salmon oil if I were going to use any.  It is less processed than the others but it a lot more expensive as well.

No i have a persian kitten  and i want to give it to him for his coat.  and i don't live in the US i don't think we have fish oil specially for cats :(

Hi!
It's perfectly normal to use human grade Fish oil for your kitty. But don't use Cod Liver Oil, very often it has high levels of vitamin A and D.
Just start with squeezing a drop or two, and gradually increase the amount. .

My adult cat is getting one capsule (1000mg) every other day. You can use half a dose for a kitten.
