It seems like the holiday shopping is now in full swing. I went to a few stores thinking things may have quieted down from the weekend, but I was so wrong. I've been going over my gift giving list to see who I have left to buy for and thankfully it isn't many! I buy gifts for 25 people.

How many people do you give gifts to during the holidays?

I think twelve. But two of them are the grandchildren and, well, they get pretty much everything on their list.

We pay for my MIL's cell phone; she's on our plan and she considers that part of her Christmas gift, so she doesn't want of anything else. Something small for my FIL.

Along with the gifts for our son and his wife, I always buy my son something kitchen-related; I've been doing this for years and it's just from me. I don't know what it's going to be this year, maybe something for his grill.

For my sister and BIL, it's usually a gift certificate to their favorite restaurant and a couple bottles of her favorite wine. For my brother and SIL, it's usually a gift certificate to Dunkin Donuts. Don't laugh; I swear they're there all the time! Not for donuts, but for the coffees.

I don't do much shopping anymore. We have always put money in a bank account for the grandchildren. They I buy them a gift so they have a present to open. I buy for my son, his wife, my daughter and my husband. My sisters and I have quit exchanging. My best friend moved away so we struck an agreement to stop with the gitts. So I put pretty stuffed dolls and animals and toys under my tree because of the lack of present.

Just ten, and anymore the kids (6 nieces and nephews) get gift certificates from us so they can get whatever they want or need.

Just 4 people - plus the cats! Usually bake up goodies for 3 of them, and get something small for Husband (who is notoriously difficult to shop for). The cats will probably each get a new toy, as they have enough cat nip to last until at least spring.

Let me go check my spreadsheet...

The spreadsheet says we have 25 people we buy gifts for...but honestly this year people are getting prints of the kid's pictures as gifts.  My list says we have 13 people done.

Thirty people, and some get more than one gift.

7.  1 is my husband and 6 are married who get joint gifts.  Usually Netflix,Sears and Shoprite or something.  I am a person who would rather give that way and let the person get a gift.  I have a cat and dog nephew and cat brothers/sister lol so they get a little something too

3. Usually my parents and brother. I give my friends Christmas cards only because I can only afford so much for gifts. I also get my kitties and dogs something special. :) When I worked at the animal shelter, I would bring homemade cookies and fudge for everyone.

Just two - my husband and daughter so it's easy. Everything but the stocking stuffers are bought online so it's all done, I'm waiting on two more things to arrive but I just ordered them. I also order some gift baskets through Costco for business reasons but that's also pretty simple. There are some nice baskets on the U.S. site that I wouldn't mind getting for feeding people over the holidays!
