Is this normal nesting behavior?

Hey guys! Kooshi my first cat, and this is her first time being pregnant! She is about 10 months old.

Just today she went to nest inside a gap between the garage and the fence. From reading all the above comments, it seems my cat is acting weird! She suddenly became really quiet and to herself. She refuses to come out of her nest (consisting of hay she gathered). I'm really worried for her as she seems  very abnormal. Maybe I'm just worrying too much as this is my first time!

I've checked up on her about 6-7 times within 2 hours. She seems to have tossed and turned into different positions in her nest. Is this a sign of anything? I hope to hear from you guys!

Thanks for your time!

Oh that poor girl being so young. Can you bring her indoors? It's far safer for her to have kittens inside, in a nice quiet room with you there to assist and make sure all goes as it should.

And keep her inside until she's been spayed when the kittens are about 10-12 weeks old.
