Remembering Misty...

Today the 22nd of November is four years since I had to say goodby to my beloved kitty Misty. I had adopted her at about 7 weeks old and she lived until just short of sixteen years.

Misty was the love of my life and my very first kitty, I loved her more than I can say. When she was put to sleep at the vets, I lost part of my heart and the rest of my heart still hurts. It has been four years but the hurt is still there and probably always will be. I couldn't let this day go by without remembering her in words.

She was beautiful -- and I know just how you feel. I loved all my kitties but my BJ has a special place in my heart -- it's been 6 years since we lost him.
