Rhys is going in for "the snip" tomorrow, and l'm nervous this time!

l've never been nervous before, for a routine thing like a neuter. He'll be microchipped at the same time.

 it'll go okay.

I'm sure it will go fine and he will be bouncing around later today.  It only takes a very few minutes for male cats.

l hope so, but l was still worried this morning - l'm not a worrier normally.

l hope he's okay.

He enjoyed the car ride as usual, but once we got in the vets, it's surgery day, and there was a cat just wailing from somewhere in the back. Poor thing sounded terrified. lt'll get done first no doubt

He's back and seems fine.

The only differences are that he's thirsty and drinking lots of water, and he crouched in the litter box once as if he were going to pee, but the litter was dry.

At 6 months he weighs 7.5lbs fasted.

Mac was nuetered 2 weeks ago. When I brought him home he drank a lot right away. Then within a half hour he was eating too. Give him an hour or two and he should be going in the litter box. I know it took Mac a couple hours but I figured it was since he hadnt ate or drank since the night before surgery. Mac just turned 6 months last week and weighs 9lbs. He is a big kitty but not fat. He looks almost as big as my 1 1/2 year old cat.

Wow, that is a big cat. Mine on the other hand isn't that big, he's become chunky.

Thanks for telling me about Mac after his neuter, l don't remember my others being so thirsty after. l'm glad it's normal.

He's eating/nibbling raw now, and seems quite content. He's walking a little stiffly, but good overall.
