Hi Mewlittle

Cat food up here in Canada costs a small fortune, so most of what my 3 eat now is my homemade raw.

They also get 2 types of commercial raw:

Boldraw - ground whole Rabbit

Carnivora - ground whole Rabbit

They get no dry.

The cans they rotate through are:

Wellness Grain Free - every flavour without fish

EVO Cat and Kitten

lnnova Cat and Kitten (has rice)

Merrick - Cowboy Cookout and Turducken. l had avoided the Merrick's because the labels made it sound as if the food was full of vegetables. Once l saw the low carb profile, l started buying them.

Go! Grain Free - chicken, turkey duck

Wellness Core - Chicken and Turkey

Blue Wilderness - Chicken, Turkey

Tiki Cat (fish) - Sardine and Mackerel, Tuna and prawns, Tuna with crab (once a week)

Weruva - Funky Chunky, Paw lick'n chicken, Peking Ducken (once a week, high in carbs)

Friskies pate - Mariners catch, Turkey and giblets (both fish), Chef's dinner (all have rice)

Fancy Feast - Chicken pate

l can't buy Natures Variety Instinct, one of the cats threw it up every time it was fed.

On my list of foods to try:

Ziwipeak

Tiki Cat chicken flavours once they get to our stores up here.

l found raw confusing at first too - actually, more scary than confusing. l was scared l would do it wrong and they'd end up malnourished.

lf it's something you're interested in, it's worth reading up about.

Mine eat less of it, so l save money that way.

The ingredients cost less than buying canned, so l save money that way.

My hurler doesn't hurl the raw, so l don't have to re-feed him, that saves me money.

l'm planning on this diet keeping them healthier, so l'll save money there too.

And they LOVE it, the spoiled brats!
