soy nuts??? are they bad for cats?

Hubby brought some home because they'll help my iron, and Matt is CONVINCED they are for him. If any get spilled he'll be sure to clean them up for me. I grabbed them as soon as I noticed, but I want to know if they are harmful to cats? them and peanuts...although he avoids peanut butter so I'm not too concerned about him scarfing the nuts. 

Cats should not have soy

I suspected as much, and got them up pretty fast. I'll make sure the whole house knows so they don't end up on the floor without me knowing. Thanks
