just wondering if he's ok...

After months of trying to trap a feral with a bad case of ear mites - i finally got him last week.  He was even neutered.

Ive seen him twice since he was treated and released and he looks good and even runs to me. 

my concern is he is now meowing (almost whining)  He would occasionally make noises before - but NOT like this.  Its almost constant - although im not out there long its definitely something new for him.

I dont know if it means anything.   I cant imagine he's in pain - not like he had to be before as both ears were basically itched open.

I think he communicates now with you.

He recognized he got help from you when he was in distress, these heavy ear mites infection.

So now he is running to you, and now he is communicating.

Although, if it is pure joy and dont really how to do it, or if he tries to communicate he has more problems - not easy to say.
