My cat is slightly over weight and seems like she hunches down to get to her food in her bowls,is this good for a cat,do they mind?? Should i look into raising the bowls or will that interfere with there eating/swallowing?? I cut a shoe box in half to try it and not sure she likes it elevated a few inches. Any tips or pics of what you have would be great. Thank you for any help.

Sometimes people suggest elevating food and water bowls to slow down cats who overeat. She may not like it at first, but there shouldn't be any problem with it hurting her.

Wild cats don't have little tables. ;)
They don't mind at all eating on the floor; my cat prefers it as well.
