Does anyone know of any "chew toys" for cats or even chewing products (chew bones or toys) made for dogs or other pets that cats may enjoy?

I have two cats who like to chew on plastic and one cat who has some bad breath and tartar, and I would like to try giving them some toys or items to chew that are appropriate/safe to chew, both to help to keep them from chewing things they shouldn't and also to maybe help keep their teeth and gums healthier, but I am not sure what types of products cats might enjoy to chew on that would also be safe for them?

Yes, they make chew toys specifically for cats.  There's one line called 'stages' that stimulates chewing and is supposed to help their teeth.  I have even seen these at Walmart, so most places should have them.

One other thing you might consider is letting them chew on a raw chicken wing that has been rinsed off.  That will help with the dental issues and give them something to chew on.

Unfortunately two of my cats are on Atopica, so I can't do raw. :(

I'm not sure if any of the cooked chew products made for dogs might work? Like they have things such as tendons and salmon skin chews or that sort of thing? I did try offering them a duck foot chew once (something I bought for my dog) but none of the cats were interested.

I think jerky would work if they are interested.  You might have to experiment with different kinds and flavors.  I have a few of the chew toys, one is solid plastic and the other is made of cloth.  My kittens do use these to chew on and seem to enjoy them.

I thought about the recalled jerky treats from China when I was posting that.  My friend was using them and her dog almost died.  Interestingly, she had given me a few to try, and my cats did eat them
It was only a very small amount, and then later we heard about the recall, when her dog became ill.

Oh no, I did not know they could still come China if they say made in US or Canada
I just bought some jerky treats yesterday, they said made in the US so I figured they would be safe.

Correction, they were never actually recalled

There are many toys for kittens, and I also was lost when trying to choose something for my pet. Then I looked through many pet reviews, and really found many interesting information. Maybe, you should also have a look at some reviews?

Great suggestion.  I just glanced over the member reviews and I see some for 'Pet Stages'.  Pet Stages makes the chew toys I have.  They make toys for different things like hunting, chewing, playing etc.  I have been very happy with the quality of the toys I have from this line. and my cats seem to agree.
