Hello, I own only one cat at this time. My cats name is Carlie and she is really a wonderful cat. She is really playful and loves lots of attention. I really feel bad because I can't hold her in my arms any more due to the fact I'm really Allergic to her. When I first got her I was ok as long as I didn't get her in my face. Now my doctor has told me to get rid of her because I'm so sick at the time. She does have a bad habit and so its hard to find a good home for her. She pees on my couch and if by chance the bedroom door gets left open long enough she pees on my bed. My daughters took her for a while to see if maybe she was held a lot that it would correct the problem of course it didn't. My daughter then called the humane society and they told her to take her to a vet and put her down. Even though I'm so sick I just can't put her down. I have taken her to a vet just last month and she is very healthy. I just wish that I could figure out a way to correct her problem so maybe I could find her a good home. It really upset me that they didn't even give my daughter any suggestions just said to put her down. She is only 3 years old. She loves to play with her balls and her toys. She loves to run from one end of my livingroom to the other end.  This is her picture and she is really a pretty cat.

Hi and welcome to TCS! Have you done any searching on really good cleaners for the couch? There are lots of threads about it, and the gist is that you need a specific kind of cleaner for your couch and such because they can detect the odor even if we can't. I'm glad you don't want to put her down. Oh, Also, how many litter boxes do you have? And what kind of litter? Because it could be a litter box avoidance problem also. Search around here about cleaners, and hopefully you can find something. I can't recall a brand name off the top of my head right now though! Sorry!

And your kitty is really cute!!!

Hello, thanks for replying. I got rid of the old couch and have gotten a new futon. I have tried also all the litters that are out there. Right now I'm keeping plastic on the futon just in case. The first of the year I will be getting another bed from my daughter who is getting a new one. Someone suggested a plug in that keeps them from peeing on stuff. Thanks for the wonderful welcome.

Feliway plug in diffusers may help. Is she spayed? Can you take allergy medicine or shots?

Welcome to TCS.
