Momma cat, AKA, very very old Momma cat
. She is between 15 and 17 years old. This, is a photo, from, last night. She, likes sleeping on, one, of the human kids
. Yes, she is missing teeth. She isn't being rude and giving you "raspberries"
.

This is Monty...he is nine years old and such a sweetheart...He has always been the lover of our animal family and usually the first to embrace and welcome new furry friends when we have brought them home [emoji]9829[/emoji]

And this is my oldest kitty Tigger, he is almost 13...He recently had what we think was a brain annorism...he couldnt walk for several days but is improving everyday...He is my miracle kitty!!  He loves to carry around any clothes, towels, socks that he can find and make loud obnoxious noises with them in his mouth lol!!  He finally had started doing this again just recently...love him!!  He was acutally the one and only offspring that my first two kitties conceived when they were practically still kittens [emoji]9829[/emoji] He grew to be bigger than both of them!

I'm enjoying the lovely senior kitty photos.  Only one of my four cats may possibly fit this category (her exact age is unknown) so I'll just enjoy looking and voting this month.

There were SO many pictures I could have chosen of Pumpkin, the "old soul" king and ruler of our homestead, who is still as crotchety and lovable as ever at age 15.  He has SO much personality, lol, and it was hard to narrow down!  Still, I think this one (captured mid-bathe) sums him up pretty well, so here's my submission.

He is the absolute essence of feline apathy and nonchalance.  To borrow a phrase from Goodfellas, "Pumpkin might have moved slow, but that's only cause Pumpkin didn't have to move for anybody."

Midori. Our queen of the house. We got her from the local HS in 2006 when she was approximately 4yrs old. I don't think they really knew. This was in 2009, so she would be about 7yrs at the time this was taken. she's 10 or 11 now.

Tiger is breathtakingly beautiful!!  You are fortunate, and so was she to get you.  God bless you both.

This is Aztec, my love, and my super-senior at 19 1/2 yrs - born May 5th, 1993 on a ranch in southern Alberta where I worked as a farmhand. He's very special indeed. Not only has he been diabetic for almost 10 yrs, he's had CKD for over 2 yrs, arthritis for many more, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy for who knows how long, and most recently he's been diagnosed with chronic ulcerative suppurative stomatitis. Despite all that, he's still livin' large, enjoying yummy food, catnip, and occasionally bopping his much younger and more rambunctious roommates on the head. It was very hard to choose just one photo of Aztec, as you can imagine I've accumulated quite a few over the years. I like this one cause it shows off the beautiful colour of his eyes in his unflinching gaze.

What a beautiful story and he is one more handsome cat!  I know people say it all the time but you can truly see the wisdom in his eyes.  Love it!

I don't know if this qualifies b/c she has now passed, but this is my beautiful Gypsy taken about four months before she died at the age of 18.5 years, which was last year in August.  She was a little feral kitten when I found her in 1993, and she was a dear little thing with slightly stunted legs and a 3 cm long jump.  If I hadn't taken her in, she most likely would have starved to death, but instead she grew plump and as heavy as a small pumpkin.  I loved her ver much.
Of course it counts!  She is a dear and lives on forever!  I am so sorry for your loss.  The only downside of having our dear ones for so long is that we miss them even more!

Here is our dear Flaco who just turned 14!  Flaco came to us as a small, starved kitten in Trinidad, West Indies.  He was so sickly I did not think he would survive.  We called him Flaco because that means "Skinny," in Spanish.  Flaco Jimemez is also one of our favorite conjunto musicians.  Fourteen years later he is, by far, the sweetest cat I have ever had.  He has inverted eyelashes now so we have to give him eye lubricant twice a day.  He never complains.  He is so arthritic he wobbles when he walks.  But, as often as he can, he is on one of us, cuddling all day and night.  He has even been a pretty good big brother to little Asha who we rescued from our backyard about 7 months ago.  My husband adores Flaco as do I.  He is the dearest little fellow ever.

This is Sweet Violet Rose, a pure bred Maine Coon, that I rescued. She is 10 years old. Her family, an older couple, had both died, leaving her alone in the house. A neighbor came to feed and water her and clean her litter box, but she was alone the rest of the time. It took me 6 months to win her trust, but when she finally gave her love, she did it whole-heartedly.Violet is very shy and runs into her safe closet whenever anyone even approaches our house. She is very jealous of our latest cat Geli, another rescue.

I have found that rescuing older cats is satisfying. Our beloved 19-year-old black cat Erika, whom we rescued when she was 14 recently passed away. She was such a blessing to me especially because she allowed me to hug her and cry into her soft silky fur when we lost 2 much loved cats in one week 4 years ago. I miss her very much.

Hi, I'm new! This is my baby Shadow. He's 17-year-old. He would have been around 13 when this picture was taken. It's one of my favorite pictures of him. My husband and I adopted him from a shelter when he was 6.

Shadow's a strange cat. He's very sensitive and passive. He's not thrilled with other cats, but will tolerate them if they mostly leave him alone. He loves music - even LOUD music! He'll perch on top of or near a speaker. He's a sweetheart. He will give me hugs and snuggle on the couch with me. He's my favorite of my three cats.
