Hello,
It's been a long time since I've had a kitten and we might be adopting one who is currently eating Purina Kitten Chow(*cringe*). We primarily feed our cats(ages 2-16) Natural Balance venison/green pea but they also get other grain-free canned food such as Evo, Weruva, Earth Born, and Merrick. They also get plenty of real cooked meat, sardines, and one of them thoroughly enjoys steamed veggies. I'm still not 100% satisfied with any of these foods and am looking into trying another canned food free of guar gum, grains, and other fillers. We might also transition to either a mostly homemade cooked meat diet or a prepared raw food such as Primal(they've been on this before). Either way, they're all doing well on the aforementioned canned foods aside from one of my boys who has developed food sensitivities and does best on the venison/green pea. So...any suggestions for the adult boys would be greatly appreciated as well. We now live in an area with limited pet stores so ordering online is not a problem. As for the kitten food, I'd prefer to get something locally to start so a few brand suggestions would be great. We do have a PetSmart(only regional chain) but I believe the only kitten food they sell is Innova? I could be wrong as we don't shop there often.
