I have a 8 yr old flame point Siamese and he will eat just about anything.. clothes, blankets, pillow cases, hair ties.. the list goes on and on. Over the years I've tried to just keep stuff up and out of the way, but it's getting to the point where I am just so frustrated I don't know what to do with him. I've thought and thought about getting rid of him, but I just can't. The other thought was to have his teeth pulled out. I think that sounds so cruel, but in the long run, it would save us all so much frustration. After reading another thread on here about how well cats can do with out their teeth, of course that thread was related to health issues, but still.. it's good to know he would be ok with out them. I don't see having them removed any worse then having him de-clawed frankly.. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Would a vet even take them out if it weren't a health related issue?
