I understand, it's always so hard to watch them be so sick. If you can find one open, then see if you can get some Pepcid. If not, then you're already halfway through the night anyways. Just try to syringe feed her if you can, just a little bit for now to see if she can hold it down.

I know how hard it is having a sick pet...My cat Sophia just had kittens last week, and we lost one the other day...So I know how you feel! Just keep doing what you are doing and hold you head up!

Ask the vet in the morning if he can give her a B12 injection. It's vitamin B12 and we use those injections here for sick kitties all the time. It works wonders to give some nourishment and energy and helps with hunger as a positive side effect. Since she's been nursing and has worms, she could be depleted of it.

and i hope she gets better soon

I have a cat named brandon he drank allot and ate allot andthe vet said he was dehydrated and the vet didn't believe me that he drank allot until the urin test came back with crystals and infection if i didn't ask the vet to do a diebeties test on him he would be dead now it was so bad the vet put fluids on his shoulder it looked like he has a tumer lol he is fine now crystal free and infection free
Catfood does not give cats worms.

yes it does 9lives don't use a good meet and they don't cook it all the way the meat in the food had worm eggs in it that we cant see even my vet said that brand can do that and explain why one of my cats after getting dewormed came back with no worms ate 9lives once and got BAD stomach worms and lives in a clean house and never goes outside

Sorry but I agree with farleyv - commercial cat food does give cats worms, unless you managed to buy a faux version.

It's not possible for canned food to harbor worm eggs, as the canning process is done at very high heat and they would have died just from being canned, even if the meat had worms in it before being canned. I would really wonder about a vet who said such a thing.

Worms can come from fleas, dirt you track in, and all kinds of other things that even housecats can be exposed to. But not canned food; it's just not possible at those temps.
