my cat is a one year old mother of two kittens ,only these days that she started showing illness signs ,not eating, vomiting, depression, pale gum, and also diarrhea, she has ben like this for three days and she lost a lot of weight, then I took her yesterday to the vet, he examined her and said that she has digestion problems, anyway he gave her two shots of somethigs that i don't remember the name and he gave me a bag of medicine to mixe with water and give it to her with a seringe the morning and afternoon, I did it but nothing happened, today she didn't even drink water and I noticed that she has white wormes in her diarrhea, what should I do? I'm really scared for her :(

I would call the Vet and ask what can be expected as far as recovery. Be sure to tell the Vet she is still not eating or drinking and has worms in her poop. They may be tapeworms and can be treated with a dewormer. What medicines were you sent home with?

Try to get her to eat something; preferable moist food. If she refuses cat food, you can try tuna or 2nd stage baby food. If you try baby food, make sure it is 2nd stage and does not contain onions or garlic. I've had luck getting a sick cat to eat the Gerber chicken. Just get her to eat something. There are plenty of posts here with suggestions such as syringe feeding.

The medicine you have is for intestinal parasites which could be what you are seeing in the poop.

Ok I will try baby food then because I already gave her tuna, she ate some but she puked it and she refused cat food, and how about water she will get dehydrated if she's not drinking, should i get her to drink too ? also she didn't vomit today, is that a good sign? the poor thing she became week she can't even take care of herself good thing that her kittens are big enough to eat and take care of themselves.

Hopefully, you can find something she'll eat. Wet cat food or baby food is mostly water so that should take care of it until you talk with the Vet. Another thing to try is Fancy Feast wet food. For some reason, cats seem to go nuts over it and is often referred to as 'Kitty Crack'.

Cats that don't eat can fail quickly so please speak with the Vet ASAP.

Good luck

p.s. I hope you have her confined inside?

Do you have a syringe that you can use to be sure she is getting water.  Also if she is not eating her food can be mixed with some water and fed to her by syringe.

Yes I agree with you I will try to feed her wet food because I red in other posts that cats can develope Fatty Liver Dieseas fast if they don't eat, also I live in Morocco so cat food we have are coming from europe mostly Spain, Whiskas was her favorit, she used to go nutts for it but she refuse it now, but I'll hopefully find somthing that she'll eat. She is sleeping inside in my bed rightnow, and first thing in the morning I'll call the Vet.

Thank you

Yes I do have a syringe and I use it to give her the medicine with it and I also got her to drink some water with it but not food yet, the Vet didn't tell me anythng about force feeding her so I didn't, but I have to do it because became too skinny and weak.

I agree, it takes less than 48 hours for fatty liver disease to set in and then she'll have to be hospitalized. I'm wondering if you should bring her to the ER tonight actually. Do you have a pet ER near you?

Okay please don't be alarmed. If you had a pet ER I'd suggest you go there but since you don't, I agree that you should syringe feed for tonight and call the vet in the AM. I'm going to PM you some instructions okay?

finnlacey should give you some good instructions, but as soon as you have access to a vet, get medicine for nausea - preferably take her in for an injection - the injection works immediately, while pills will generally hold that meal and are not as strong.
The usual protocol is an initial injection following up with pills at home. But it is of no use to force feed if everything you give the kitty throws up. You have to make sure she keeps the food in. :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:

Good point Carolina! Unfortunately he said they don't have vets open at night there in Morocco so he has to wait until tomorrow AM. Shoots, I hope this kitty can hold it down.

It is a far cry..... but pepcid sometimes helps with nausea (Famotidine 10mg) if he can get that in a pharmacy in there..... he can give it a shot..... Doesn't work as well as a good nausea medication, but it is as good as he will get tonight.....

Agreed, can you get Pepcid a/c tonight anywhere near you? if you give 1/4 of a 10 mg tablet, that will help greatly!!! You clearly love her very much, let's try to get her through the night tonight and get her the help she needs tomorrow.
