i live in south texas. i have this cat i found that is all love no bite. my 1 year old will pull his ears and hug him and he has never even raised a paw at her.  soon as we go outside he's rubbing up against us purring letting us know he loves us. he eats everything that crawls in site from the centipedes, lizards, spiders, scorpians, praying mantis, walking sticks, rats, snakes.....we live out on a ranch and he eats it all.  but like 2 days ago i noticed he started acting really weird didnt come when we opened the door, didnt come when i said kitty kitty kitty so i went looking for him and found him under a tractor lawn mower we have just laying on his belly, barely meowing and the look he gave me told me he was sick. so i pulled him out from under and right away i thought o no this cat got a hold of something poisnous and it bit him or something so i gave him a dose of children's benydral and children's amoxicillan and prayd he survived. so two days have passed and he's still alive sitting up and at least he purrs when i pet him. i gave him a bit of milk and a canned meat cat food and he nibbles at them a bit.  still isnt walkin around but he moves himself to different spots. so is my cat going to survive? what do you think has happened to my cat? i also thought maybe he ate a rat with poison but if that was the case im sure he would have already been dead, right?

He needs to see a vet. Also, it's important to keep him fed and hydrated until you can get him in to see the vet--force some Pedialyte or homemade Oral Rehydration Solution (Google to find out how to make it) and some chicken baby food (make sure it doesn't have onion or garlic in it) into him if he won't eat it/drink it by himself.

Agree with Willowy - he needs to see a vet.

Also giving cats human medicines can be very dangerous.  The ones you have given him will probably be OK, but remember that oral antibiotics need to be given as a course, not a one-shot dose.
