I thought I would update on my daughter Aimee. If anyone remembers my original thread, my daughter was born at 29 weeks 5 days on September 5. After 62 days in the hospital (26 in the NICU and 36 in the special care nursery), she came home on Monday.
This is hard to read but it says "Happy Two Month Birthday Aimee." The nurses made this for her and put it on her bassinet on Sunday.

In her bassinet. She's wearing a swaddle blanket. It's quite big on her so we will get a lot of use out of it.

My husbands mom bought her this hat the day she was born. She finally fits into it.

How wonderful for you to have your precious bundle home at last. It must have been so difficult to be patient all this time, coupled with t he worry. Now you can learn to enjoy each other. She is a little darling.

She's an absolute little angel. Congratulations and so happy she is home and doing well. Just being home will probably add to her improvement. Send us more pictures.

Awwwww!!!  Look how big she has gotten...but still so tiny!  I'm still using my swaddle blankets for DS and I loved them for DD.  I think we had the same one for DD too.  I love not having to swaddle the old fashion way!

Enjoy being home as a family!!

Thanks everyone. It's been so nice having her home, even if I am exhausted.
Waking up every 3 hours is really hard. I get about 2 hours of sleep at a time. I'm sure I will get used to it, I've only been doing it for 8 days so far (I stayed for 6 at the hospital before she came home).

We just used it for the first time last night. It is so much easier. She's been using it pretty much all day today. I keep her swaddled or wrapped up in blankets most of the day because she is still so small and she gets cold easily.

I am so happy for your family now that its newest member is finally home. She is a beautiful little girl, and seems none the worse for a little rough start in life. She looks amazingly alert for such a young one. It took almost a month to get my first granddaughter to open her eyes for a picture.

She's truly a little sweetie and I'm so glad you finally got that little girl home where she belongs.

Love the little cap! Yep, she's a sweetie!

An angel, that is what she is.  Fur babies are fun.  But you got the real thing here.  What a blessing.
