I took my cat, Cookie to the vet for her yearly check up (3 weeks ago on Wednesday). She had a rabies and another shot. Cookie was diagnosed last April with a thyroid condition that was under control. Since the vet visit, Cookie is a different cat. She is hiding in the closet, eating different food (lately threw up twice) and using the litter box only when I put it in the closet with her( she sometimes poops outside the box and withholds peeing for days.) She is behaving totally differently than she ever has. I have called the vet 3 times and took her back for blood work ( nothing there). The vet says she is "angry", but at this point, I don't think so. I just called my daughter's vet for a phone consult.
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS BIZARRE OCCURRENCE?
Thanks!

Vaccine reactions are fairly common. I'm especially not fond of vaccinating a cat with a chronic health condition :/. Hopefully she'll recover fully but it can take a while. You might want to contact a holistic vet with experience in vaccine detox.
