Hi everyone!
I'm a long time cat care-taker/friend. I've grown up having at least one or two cats around my entire life (and I'm only almost 24.) Finally, I'm a cat-parent to my very own cat. His name is Loki, he's about 1 year and 5 months old, I adopted him within two weeks of moving into my apartment back in July 2011. It was an epic battle with the boyfriend, who wanted to wait more, but I kept telling him "I need a cat." I believe Loki's a Mau/Calbi mix. He's got the speed and hyper activity down. I've never had a cat as active as him. He also chirps a lot and I believe his meow sounds like "now." He's also handsome devil and his markings are brilliant.

He has two sisters and two bothers. I keep in close contact with his foster mom. His two bothers haven't been adopted yet, so if you know anyone that wants a bonded pair of trouble makers that lives in Illinois, send them my way.
He's the only cat in the apartment, I'm hoping when we move I can talk my boyfriend into getting the poor little boy a friend since he needs a lot of play time and with me working part time and in Graduate school I can only play with him for about 30 minutes a day. And well, my boyfriend is kind of lame and plays with him sometimes 15 times a month.
