I know this prob belongs in another section of the forum, but here goes.

I am looking for, if it exists the best quality in terms of safety and function for baby cats.

They just came last night, and even though they are scared to death of me, if I stay still they start fighting.

They freaked me out as they kept biting objects.

The breeder told me the boy caries around a feather stick in his mouth, and the girl the same but with the plastic balls.

The popular feather pole on amazon has bad reviews of it splintering, cats eating the feathers etc.

I would prefer made in usa mostly for sense of safety, and I think pet products are one of those that should be produced here (as well as baby food and products)

Hare Today raw food company carries home made toys made by one of her friends:

In my view the best toys they have are each other, but most toys are safe so long as you keep an eye on them and throw them away if they are getting damaged - for example the stuffing coming out.

A cardboard box can be a great toy, and of course they need a good big solid scratching post.  Very cheap toys include screwed up bits of paper, and feathers.  It's not dangerous for them to eat feathers as they do that naturally if they catch and eat a bird.

The really dangerous thing you must NOT leave around is ANYTHING with string.
