Yes folks, that is right. In just 6 months, I have reached this milestone.  I see people that have been on much longer that have only half of what I have posted.  Does this mean I have a ratchet jaw, so to speak?  Actually, it is because the people on here are more pleasant to exchange thoughts with than anyone in my home town.

The only person, other than family, I contact as much is my friend in Florida.  I have known him for 26 years and although we are political opposites, we have a great bond.  I feel that way about all of you.

Thank you for being here and helping when I was so worried about Silly.

Hoping to post many more thousands of times.

I agree that there are wonderful people on this board. I always said that animal lovers are the greatest because they (I guess "we") are much more in tune with feelings and emotions. I don't trust people who don't love animals. They are God's special creatures and bring us so much joy.

Regardless of how quickly you got to 1,000 posts, at least you did it without resorting to some of the cheaper ways of padding your stats that I have seen here, which is to spam every thread in the New Cats On The Block or Fur Pictures and Videos forums with the same copy-and-pasted emoticon or same two words. I would upload some pics or a video and see that someone responded with a basic emoticon or a standard "so cute", which I felt was kind of useless already, but then I notice that every single recent thread in the forum had the same message from the same person, and all within 1 minute of each other. Then a few weeks later I see that person posting about how excited they are to reach some posting milestone, like 1,000 posts. Some people spam even longer and specifically so they can get their own user title, which is at 1,200 posts.

So keep up your posting volume by all means, because I have never seen you post a useless throwaway comment. And congrats! It's great that you found a place where you feel comfortable to tell others your thoughts.

I didn't know that I got my own user title at 1,200 and really don't even give a rat's rump about it.  I just want to share my knowledge and strange humor with people that appreciate it.

I'm disabled and don't have to go to a job, so I can sit here on the computer any time I'm not reading my nook or paying attention to the ladies.
