This is a picture of Jade. Jade was living as a wild cat in florida and had parasites that were eating her up alive each day. This made Jade live a life in suffer and pain until for two days ago, where two of my friends catched her and brought her to treatment at an animal hospital right away. Unfortunately Jade lost the battle against the parasites the next day.

The reason why I´m telling this is not to tell a very sad story, but instead to tell a story about two great people with a strength and heart that only can be admirable and hopefully inspire others to help people and animals in need, so nobody ever will have to live a life like Jade did.
Jade didn`t make it, but atleast she got one day in her entire life with care, compassion and love and most important, Jade didn`t die in pain. I am so proud of my two friends and know that Jades life wasn`t in vain, but that it will inspire alot of strong people with a big heart to help people and animals in need.

Hi My4LLMA`s

and thanks for your compassion and beautiful picture.

I am sure Lynxx was a very lucky cat having a person with your strength, heart and compassion in it`s life. If the world had more people like you, nobody would ever end up like Jade did.

All my best to you and your beautiful cats Luna, and Midnight.

To all people reading the story about Jade. Sometimes it takes so little effort to help an animal. Forinstens you could share this story on facebook and twitter. In that way it hopefully can inspire some people out there to join the effort in helping animals in need.

Over the river and through the woods...
What a wonderful thing for your friends to do. You are absolutely right, poor Jade may have passed, but she knew kindness and comfort before she died, which she didn't know her entire life. Your friends ARE an inspiration and I truly hope other follow their example. There need to be more people like them in the world.

RIP little Jade. You knew love at the very end....

Thank you so much for that, it was beautiful and a sweet memorial for lil Jade. She is resting in Heaven and will never suffer again. I had her cremated and I'm going to keep her ashes, so shes always with me and a reminder on just how fragile their lives are. I rescued her sister who also had Mange, she is now one of my 6 kitties I have at home. We will continue our mission to try to save as many as we can and change the Laws for Feral cats. Thank you again and may God Bless you.

Poor little thing - it's very fortunate that somebody showed compassion and tried to get her help. RIP, Jade.

Hi Mary

It really warmed my heart to read your mail and I am so glad to hear you saved Jades sister and that she`s now in a loving and caring home like yours.

The day Jade died Vanessa told me in the phone at night. The next day on my way to work I pass by a church, and in 3 years (the time I have taken that way to work) I never heard the church bells ring. But this day they were ringing while the Danish flag was on half (meaning a funeral, but no people were around which is very strange). I was right away thinking it was GOD`s way telling me that Jade is in heaven and finally found the peace and love she was looking for her entire life.

I will be in my south florida condo for a month vacation in January and Vanessa promised me to take me one time to feed the cats, so I look very much forward to that. Vanessa also told me that the park people put the cats to sleep if they catch them. I can`t believe anything like that happens in a civilized country as the US. So I really support your mission in changing the laws for feral cats and suggest they sterilise the feral cats instead.

May GOD bless you and your mission. You are an amazing person and a role model for many people.

David
