My cat Sam Has a wound above her eye that started out smaller than a dime. Now several months later it is nearing the size of a quarter.

The vets are stumped. She has been given antibiotics once. I think that it might be a spider bite? maybe one that rots the flesh?

She does not seem to be bothered by it, but I fear it's to close to the eye and of coarse want her healthy and happy again. I would so appreciate anyone's educated thoughts on this matter.

I would try a different vet. If it's been getter bigger for months I would definately get medical attention again. At least they could try a broad spectrum antibiotic and an ointment. I hope she feels better soon.

Thank you for your concern. We are talking with a new vet now.

Sam seems happy inspit of her boo boo.

I don't have any advice, but I am glad you are going for a second opinion and wanted to wish you and your beloved Sam luck with the new vet. Keep us posted!
