Cats in general, what is it that makes them so loveable?

I love cats, it's just like they have this instant tie to your heart.


What is it, is it their soft fur, their purr, their adorable paws, those precious meows, the way they just sometimes seem to understand that you need them, what is it? I feel like God put them here just for us, as a comfort mechanism. What do you love about cats and why?

I love that you can't own a cat. If a cat doesn't like you, it doesn't like you. But the day they roll over and show you their most vulnerable spot, their belly, you know that they have adopted you as their person.

My girl, Dusty, knows when I am sick. She will snuggle and purr. I love waking up in the middle of the night to find her sound asleep right next to me. Sometimes I will wake up and she will be stretched out with her head on my arm or shoulder.

Rusty, her sister, is very aloof but sometimes she will come to me. She is my hubby's little girl.
