Truffles Jade

 Hi, my new cat,Truffles Jade,is my avatar.  She is about 4 years old as she was stray brought in to the Coquitlam(BC,Canada) animal shelter on Sept. 30th,2012.  Someone gave her a trim so she had a lion cut but will look even better once her hair grows in.  She is a sweet,quiet cat who lives for attention and love and is adjusting well to her new home.  When she wants a pet,she will jump up and rub your hand against her cheek and has a sweet purr. I haven't had a cat for 14 years due to finances but now I can afford a cat,i chose to adopt an adult cat from a shelter.  I also have an adult mottled black gerbil,Tia,who i adopted from the SPCA this summer and so far,cat and gerbil are not afraid of each other.
