Well, the shelters have fresh straw, we've "battened" down the hatches. The sides of the RV have board insulation secured in place so wind and water won't whip through there... (the picture of the deck was taken this morning before we finished getting everything put away).
There shouldn't be anything loose outside to blow around other than what nature provides. We've been telling the kitties (though they can probably feel it) that a storm is coming, and they need to stay safe. I'm not sure what else there is to do for them.
Everyone survived last year's hurricane and then the ice storm just fine. :cross:
Smokey's winter coat is not coming in quickly enough. Everyone else is thick, soft and REALLY fluffy.
Of course, there was a wee issue... and I mean wee. A small baby appeared Tuesday. That's her sitting there looking at Froggie.
Thank goodness Gary was able to trap her this morning using string on the trigger for the trap. We ran her to the vet, where if the foster network cannot take her, she will at least be in boarding for the duration of the storm. She is 10 weeks old. :heart2:
