Hey my name is julie. I have two kids whiatt who is 4 and sam who is 2. I just went to safeway earlier this afternoon and bought two containers o the refridgerated wet cat food. I guess I forgot to put them in the fridge and 8/9 hours later I find them in the kitchen. My house is aroun 60-65 degrees at the most. They were unopened. Will they be ok if I still feed it to them? Or do. Have to toss it? Tyyy.

I only feed them 1/2 a container a night. Would it be ok to refridgerate the rest? The unopened and the half empty. That is if I feed them it tonight. I'm still worried..

Is it possible to feed the half package tonight and cook the remaining half package and the unopened full package? Sure you'd rather feed raw, but overriding concern is to feed them safely.

This screams salmonella to me.  I'd toss it if it were me.  Feeding it the same night might be okay but refrigerating the left over portion could possibly be dangerous.  I'd at least toss that part of it.

Toss them, toss them, toss them.  As a person who has had salmonella, I say to take no chances.  It is a terrible disease.  I almost died and spent a week in the hospital, 3 days of it in the ICU.
