How do I give drops to a kitten?

The vet told me 4 drops everyday but how do I know if I gave him 3 or 4 or maybe more I can't hold him tight, open his mouth and count the drops at the same time and there is no one to help me I live alone any ideas?

I can't mix it with food because he will NOT eat it he hate the taste of the drops and the smell  

Haley,  try to get him relaxed before you give him the drops.  Sometimes then you can just slip them in and count the drops.  I usually try to get mine propped up on one knee while I stroke his head, and then slowly tilt his head to one side and count the drops.  If he gets an extra drop I don't think it's going to matter.
