Wednesday's Question of the Day

Good morning friends! There are so many giving people on this forum who focus on the welfare of others, including animals, which brings up the question: when is the last time you did something nice for yourself? (You deserve it, you know.)

I guess this counts it's for the family but I'm the only one who cares. We have new towels, rug, and shower curtain for our bathroom and I'm more happy about it than I probably should be! We always use things up and replace them only when they stop working; our old towels still soaked up water but it has been a loooong time and they were turning to rags... They look so nice in the bathroom it makes me happy! 

Tonight, I bought myself a bottle of wine, I've had a bit of a good day and celebrating a mini win

I bought a big bottle of lavender bubble bath yesterday and am preparing to take a long soak, with a glass of wine and my nook. (I am reading a book by E. E. 'Doc' Smith)   See, guys. We can pamper ourselves and not be embarrassed about it.

I am going to buy a heavy stainless steal garbage can for my kitchen.. it's long due since Monet keeps getting in the cabinet where the garbage is kept!

Today. I wanted to carve a pumpkin, so I bought myself one and a carving tool kit. Then I enjoyed it so much (I honestly don't remember ever carving a pumpkin before), I went and carved another :lol3:
