i was just wondering the other day that one of the feral baby cat has some missing hair on top of his/her head. then i start to see ringworm appearing on my feet after i gave it a shower barefeet myself in the bathtub! and i just read it online that feral cats are most likely to have ringworm, etc, etc.

Id say the best thing to do is try and get the cat to the vet to see what is going on and a treatment and your self to the doctors to double check.

Well, I've been TNRing for over 10 years now, care for an active colony of 11 currently, and I've never seen a feral cat with ringworm. But any cat can have ringworm, so it's always best to be careful.

Obviously you should seek treatment right away. Colloidal silver (500ppm) happens to be very effective at treating ring worm (it's a fungal infection). So for the feral, if you're able to get some CS on there 4x a day, that'll likely clear it up in a couple of days so kitty doesn't continue to spread it. We use CS for any topical wound. We use a different brand, but it only comes in a larger size than you'll need. Here's a smaller size:
Just soak a cotton ball and dab or swipe it on the spot, 4x - 6x a day.

Agree with Laurie above. I have not yet had to deal with ringworm on one of my feral cats. KNOCK WOOD!!!!!! If this is truly a feral cat, then you would not be able to touch the baby. If you can, then I would apply the CS that Laurie suggested above as well. Colloidal Silver will definitely clear the ringworm. This is the brand I use also from Amazon. You want to get the 500 PPM. IF it is not ringworm, the CS will help the wound anyway. Great stuff.
