Hello

I've been here to this site numerous times in the past looking for advise but I never actually joined.  I figure now is as good of a time as any.  My name is Shauna and I have 7, yes 7, kitties.  I failed as a foster mommy.  I also have 3 dogs and a parrot.  I'm a returning student going to school to be a vet. tech. and also do animal rescue, fostering both critters and human kids, and volunteer for big brothers big sisters in my spare time.  I look forward to participating in this community of kitty lovers. 

Hi Shaunah, I'm fairly new to the site too. Wow, 7 kitties and 3 dogs! That is wonderful! I have 3 cats which is about all my small NYC apartment will handle. Good luck with school! You sound like an amazing person.

Hi, welcome to TCS!  We are glad you are here. 

Thank you.  We finally bought a small house last fall so we had room to add to our family.  Not that we PLANNED to fail as kitten foster parents but life happens.  We have too tender of hearts apparently.

We are at our legal max for critters within the city limits so we won't be adopting any more of our own but we do still foster on a regular basis.
