cat scratching but fleas

My cat keep's scrathing, but I find no fleas. His skin is not dryed out either. HELP

You didn't mention if you tried using a flea comb...

sometimes they are nearly impossible to find without the comb.

Alternately, you might try giving him a bath with a good Cat Shampoo (not the Human variety - they are very different.)

Finally, if it were my Kitty, I'd add a few drops of a good quality Salmon or Fish oil to his wet food once a week.

Yes I have used a flea comb. I didn't find any thing, so I thought he might have dry skin. Thank you for your input. I will try the fish oil.
