just recently, a feral cat had several babies around where i live. they hang around the trash bin at night time to eat.

i wonder how the mother fed her babies before they can jump into the trash bin to eat themselves, did the mother bring those people food to feed her babies? or they just drink her milk only?

Oh, so THIS is why you keep asking all those weird feral cat questions. OK, I get it a bit more now. BTW, if you could throw up an introduction post or include a fraction more information in your questions, you wouldn't get so many responses from people asking you why you're trolling the site.

For the first few weeks, mother cats feed their kittens milk. This is regardless of if they are pet cats or feral cats. After that, I suppose the mother teaches her kittens how to scavenge or hunt their own food, with her bringing them food at the beginning since they don't know how to do so themselves. I would imagine it's like those nature documentaries where you see a mother lion out hunting while her cub is off to the side watching how it's done.
