Hello guys, I have a question for you.

I was wondering if Wellness core (for adult cats) kibble would be bad to give to a kitten. Eveliina is 5 months old now and I was in a pinch today because that is all they had at the stores I went to (Eveliina is picky). The kind that I got usually comes in both "adult and kitten" and "adult" forumals. I don't think there is much of a difference between the two (the "adult and kitten" one probably has more calories). Eveliina's meal times normally revolve around canned food but I leave dry food out for her. I was just wondering will this dry food be ok or should I not open it and take it back? I went to two different stores looking for the "adult and kitten" and both of them didn't have it. One store worker told me just to feed her more of the stuff I bought and the other store worker didn't seem to have a clue.

Oh, Eveliina also got spayed today! She is doing well

Thank you for your replies!

I myself would use it. Mac eats the same food Mia does and does much better on it than "kitten" food. I free feed dry food too and they occasionally get wet when I can afford it.

Yay that she got spayed! I just got two foster kittens spayed this week.
Wellness is absolutely fine! It is one of the highest quality dry foods I know of. Wellness Core wet food would be optimal though!

I have been leaving a bit out for her to "snack" on while I am away during the day. Since Eveliina's meal times revolve around canned food now, in the near future I plan to feed an all canned food diet or maybe an all raw diet (I need to do a lot of research on that of course).

@Kitty lover 23 -  I hope your foster kitties are doing well!
