I would not give that to any cat. Green tea contains caffeine which is poison to cats. And who knows what those mushrooms are. Vitamin C can mess with the urine pH, causing it to become too acidic, which would make her vulnerable to forming oxalate stones.

Please talk to your vet about how to build up your cat's immune system. L-lysine might be an option for her.

Well, if you are interested in a diet change, I'm going to recommend you feed raw. :D What are you feeding her now?

We have a very active and wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable member base over in the raw forum, if you'd like to post over there.

Hi necica!

If you want something natural and effective for kitty "colds", here you are:

All your cat's symptoms are most probably being caused by a virus, the Herpes virus. It cannot be cured, but its effects can be weakened - read this:
There are several holistic treatment options for Herpes. One of the simplest is l-lysine, which is inexpensive and readily available at the health food store or drug store. It comes in capsules or tablets, usually 500 mg. Capsules are much easier to work with, if you can get them. The dose is 500 mg twice a day for 5-7 days (total 1,000 mg/day). Lysine has a slightly salty taste, and is easily disguised by mixing with wet food or meat baby food. If that seems like a huge dose for a cat, it is–but that’s what it takes to work. Once the acute episode is under control, a maintenance dose of 250 mg per day can be given indefinitely. http://www.littlebigcat.com/health/feline-conjunctivitis/

If she has mucus in her lungs you need to speak to the vet. But L-lysine is bought from pharmacies or health food shops as wder or tablets, and does work to strengthen the immune system against viruses, particularly the herpes virus that casues weepy eyes and sometimes noses. It is a natural supplement. But really in this case I would consult the vet. Do not give your cat any mixed supplements as they can be very dangerous.

It is, BUT, Just because it's good for us, doesn't mean it's good for our pets. They have different systems than we do, & are smaller as well.

Best to stick to Lysine until you speak with your vet, for the saftey of your cat.

Yeah, I would not use that product. Green tea is no good and I'm worrisome over the mushrooms as well, as well as what Kelly said about Vitamin C! I also think L-Lysine would be a fantastic idea, as well as a switch to raw!

L-Lysine, of course..... and I really like Transfer Factors.
I take it myself and I swear by it - with all my travellings, this is the only thing that keeps me healthy. I am kind of freaking out that I ran out of it this week. Hopefully I won't catch a cold by the time I get home.
I also used for Bugsy for a long time; thankfully he no longer needs it as he is on raw now and doing amazing  I know for a fact it is safe. Transfer Factors is good stuff.
