They have been resting. They are nursing wonderfully, and Sophia is one proud momma! She still has at least one in her because (my boyfriend because I am at work) can feel at least one more in there! So the wait continues to see!

We are going to call the vet tomorrow, to get a check up on momma to make sure she passed everything she needed to, and get the kittens checked and weighted!

We couldn't be any happier!

Congratulations on the new arrivals! Make sure you have a scale at home (preferably one that weighs in grams) so you can get their weights everyday and make sure they are gaining. It's best to do it at the same time each day. I'm still new to the world of grams but between 10-15g a day is what they should be gaining. Any signs of weight loss and they should see the vet ASAP.

It's a good idea to call and check in with the vet tomorrow. How many placentas did she pass? It is not abnormal for there to be a delay during delivery like you are experiencing and is okay so long as she is calm and comfortable. But, if she starts contracting again and no baby comes or seems distressed then she may need to be seen sooner as it could be a sign that one is stuck. But, if she delivered 2 placentas and is otherwise comfortable I don't know that I would stress her out by taking her in so soon after delivery. As always however, that's between you and the vet. We can't see her and only you know what is right!

Very cute, now you can plan on getting mum and babies fixed in about 10 weeks time

She's been about 11 hours since the 2nd one was born..you. an feel at least one or two moving...her breathing is rapid but she seems comfortable..I'm very worried and don't honestly.know what to do.

She did pass both placentas.

Hhhrrrrmmmmm delayed labor is actually something I have never dealt with in person and I don't want to advise improperly. I would probably err on the side of a vet visit if she doesn't have any more by morning. Thoughts from others who have dealt with a lapsed delivery?

That's my plan as of right now. And I need sleep but waking up every hour or so to check on her to make sure she isn't straining or in pain. If there is anyone one out there that has dealt with this please help.

Agreed.  And the point of weighing in grams is to avoid decimal points - 10 is a far easier number than .352!

Weigh them at about the same time each day and keep written records.  I transfer mine into a spreadsheet (it's better at arithmetic than I am) and have quite a few now which I can use as a reference if I want.

Sophia has one more to go still..went to the vet got an X-ray. They gave her a couple shots to help induce her and we have very strict instructions. But other than that..everyone us doing good.

#1 weighs 3.5ounces

After an hour of pushing (took alittle longer due to her being alittle sedated from the vet) #3 has arrived!!

And we are finished!

#3 is moving, breathing, and right now chowing down!
